We sell food by weight, meaning our shoppers can buy as little or as much as they need without the plastic packaging. Everything we sell is dispensed into either a paper bag or our Customers own containers should they wish to bring them.

As a family we beleived that recycling just couldn't be enough. We believed we should all be able to buy kitchen-cupboard ingredients without plastic packaging.

So what did we do about that? 100% personally funded, 100% committed to this cuase, we created FoodNude. A Zero Waste store based in Blackhall Yard, Kendal, Cumbria.

Our aim is to be Cumbria’s leading Zero Waste option, our stock range is varied, relationships with our suppliers is growing strong, meaning we are growing stronger week on week.

We don’t stop at food, we also stock a range of non food items, always plastic free, for personal hygiene and the home.

FoodNude believe that delicious food starts with plant-based ingredients. We stock a range of 100% Vegan products, from Tofu to Tempah, we got it covered!
